Operations Manager

• Oversee day-to-day lodge operations in partnership with the General Manager.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Front of House, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams.
• Maintain operational efficiency while preserving the lodge’s luxury standards.

• Drive a guest-first culture, ensuring every interaction is personal, memorable, and of the highest quality.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and enhance service delivery across all departments.

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Create staff rosters, manage performance, and provide training to maintain excellence.
• Foster a positive and professional working environment.

• Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and stock management.
• Ensure resources are optimally allocated without compromising quality.

• Implement and enforce brand standards and SOPs.
• Monitor health, safety, and hygiene compliance across the lodge.

• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement innovative ideas to elevate the guest experience.

• Matric; Hospitality Diploma/Degree advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a high-end, remote setting.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen and operational knowledge.
• Valid RSA ID and Driver’s Licence required.
