About the Role
You will take full responsibility for the lodge’s performance – managing all departments, driving guest satisfaction, maintaining financial control, and ensuring that every detail reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing all lodge operations: guest experience, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and activities
- Leading, motivating, and mentoring a diverse and dedicated team
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Building strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery
- Promoting conservation and sustainability initiatives within the lodge’s operations
- Proven track record as a General Manager or senior management role in luxury lodge or high-end hospitality
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Exceptional guest-relations skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management
- Knowledge of lodge operations, including F&B, maintenance, and HR
- Adaptability and resilience in a remote, natural environment
