- Oversee day-to-day lodge operations in partnership with the General Manager.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Front of House, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams.
- Maintain operational efficiency while preserving the lodge’s luxury standards.
- Drive a guest-first culture, ensuring every interaction is personal, memorable, and of the highest quality.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and enhance service delivery across all departments.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Create staff rosters, manage performance, and provide training to maintain excellence.
- Foster a positive and professional working environment.
- Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and stock management.
- Ensure resources are optimally allocated without compromising quality.
- Implement and enforce brand standards and SOPs.
- Monitor health, safety, and hygiene compliance across the lodge.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement innovative ideas to elevate the guest experience.
- Matric; Hospitality Diploma/Degree advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a high-end, remote setting.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and operational knowledge.
- Valid RSA ID and Driver’s Licence required.
