Job Description :As the Head of Key Accounts and Sales at this beverage company, you'll lead the company’s strategic relationships with key accounts while driving overall sales performance. This role is weighted towards building and managing high-value partnerships (70%) while also overseeing sales operations and growth strategies (30%).The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth by aligning client needs with the company’s product and service offerings, while also spearheading initiatives to penetrate new markets and enhance overall sales performance.Key Responsibilities:Key Accounts Management (70%)Develop and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key customers and partners (large retailers), nationally.Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring exceptional service and strong alignment with business goals.Negotiate and manage key account contracts, agreements, and terms to drive sustainable revenue growth.Identify opportunities for expanding business within existing accounts.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of client requirements.Analyse account performance, prepare reports, and implement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and profitability.Sales Leadership (30%)Develop and execute sales strategies, annual sales plans, and budgets to achieve company objectives.Oversee sales operations, ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue and growth targets.Manage sales pipeline and monitor performance against KPIs.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.Guide, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver outstanding results.Contribute to pricing strategies, incentive plans, and sales process optimisation.RequirementsProven track record in key account management from FMCG with extensive experience in building strategic partnerships.10+ years' in senior commercial or sales roles, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and “do what it takes” attitude.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in tracking performance metrics.Willingness and ability to travel nationally.Benefits
