Job Description We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Office Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative, sales, and operational support to our Pretoria branch. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks while ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, as you will interact with clients, employees, and suppliers, while overseeing administrative and financial processes. Key Responsibilities Client Support Assist clients in the showroom/yard and handle client calls professionally. Maintain and submit weekly client call reports. Sales & Administration Process invoices, pro-forma invoices, credit requests, and purchase orders. Manage stock reservations and proof of payments. Maintain accurate filing systems for all sales and administrative documentation. Stock & Inventory Support quarterly stock takes and stock control processes. Print and manage stock sheets. Coordinate stock/load sheets from other branches. Office Administration Order and manage stationery and sample requests. Maintain accurate financial records, including bank statements and invoice filing. Handle speed point banking and related administrative tasks. Employee & Site Support Capture timesheets and overtime accurately. Process wages for gardeners and other staff where applicable. Fulfill Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities (First Aider, Fire Fighter, Health & Safety Representative, Incident Investigator, etc.).
Key Requirements Matric qualification (essential). Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook). Basic understanding of accounting functions (cash book, debtors, creditors). Proficiency in English and Afrikaans; knowledge of additional African languages advantageous. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Professional, reliable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
