
SHE & Risk Administrator

- Manage the Health & Safety management inbox, accident forms, and general queries.
- Coordinate the development of health & safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate SHER awareness initiatives and communications.
- Proactively identify on-site threats to worker health and safety and order the suspension of such activities.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to identify non-compliance, near-misses, and unsafe acts.
- Compile detailed safety reports as required.
- Implement mitigations and corrective actions.
- Assist with developing mitigating plans to prevent future problems.
- Assist with conducting risk assessments and ensuring their regular review.
- Coordinate audits for allocated projects and ensure alignment with the company's Contractor Management System.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Risk Assessments, FMCG, and Warehousing.
- Grade 12 qualification.
- SAMTRAC qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, E-mail, and MS PowerPoint.
- National Diploma in Safety Management is advantageous.
- Courses in SHEQ management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001) are advantageous.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment training is beneficial.
- Accident investigation techniques training is beneficial.
- First Aid certification is beneficial.
