- Do monthly vulnerability scans on all IT infrastructure equipment and resolve any issues which might occur.
- Propose upgrades as it become necessary due to equipment which become vulnerable.
- Making sure that Office 365 Cloud Services are secured from any threats and all necessary security measurements are in place.
- Managing Anti-virus and Cyber Security software on servers and individual components.
- Implementing penetrating tests and decoy systems.
- Setting up and monitoring of a siem and managing any potential risks.
- Setting up and maintaining of firewall (checkpoint) and malware protection software (ESET Remote Administrator).
- Setting up and maintaining of servers (VMware), domain controller (Microsoft Active directory 2019), Point of sale (EasiPos), accounting software server (Sage Evolution), biometrics access control system, internet fiber metro ethernet lines, back up internet WIFI links and other processes;
- Managing and assisting the Senior IT systems administrator with all tasks.
- Liaising with third party cyber security service providers.
- Install, configure and provide technical support for both hardware and software;
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems;
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns;
- Create and verify backups of Servers (Acronis Cyber Cloud);
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution;
- Set up accounts and workstations for new staff members;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages;
- Managing all WIFI connections making sure uptime is at 100% for both clients and users (Unifi Controller);
- Manage and maintain the cloud based phone system (3CX);
- Administer and maintain the Office 365 accounts for all staff email accounts hosted with Microsoft.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification specializing in Cyber Security/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
- Preferably 7-10 years experience in Cyber Threat/ IT Risk management.
- Applicable Microsoft certifications.
- Familiar with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Excellent knowledge of VPNs.
- Knowledge of Office 365 Cloud services (Hosted emails), Ubiquity AP's and other WIFI AP's, HP Aruba Switches and VLAN, Windows 10\11 and Server .2019\2022, Active Directory administration (users, groups, group policy, DNS, DHCP, organizational units), fiber connections and different topologies.
