Job Description :An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Group Sales Leader to take charge of a high-performing sales organisation that operates at the forefront of technology and digital transformation. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the sales function across several specialist companies within South Africa, each delivering advanced solutions to industries such as mining, civil construction, AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations), geospatial, and the public sector.Reporting to the Group Sales Director, this is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role — accountable for revenue growth, large deal generation, and the development of a cohesive, cross-company sales force that delivers real impact across the region.What You’ll Be DoingLead the South African sales function across multiple companiesIdentify and close large, complex opportunities—especially major deals in mining and governmentBe the first point of contact for key accounts, shaping tenders and influencing opportunities before they go to marketTake a hands-on approach to unlocking strategic sales, working directly with C-suite stakeholders and procurement teamsWork with General Managers and Sales Managers to guide performance and support team developmentDeliver on sales targets and ensure strong pipeline and forecasting managementBuild and maintain strong customer relationships and act as a key point of contact for major accountsCollaborate with marketing, product, support, and operations to drive resultsRequirementsWhat you bring to the table:Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Engineering, or a similar fieldAt least 10 years’ experience in sales or business development, with 5+ years in a leadership roleStrong Background and contacts in the mining industryStrong understanding of long sales cycles and solution-based sellingConfident, persuasive, and strategic — someone who commands credibility and can influence at the executive levelAbility to build relationships, coach teams, and influence at all levelsA stable work historyValid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle (willing and able to travel regularly across South Africa)BenefitsThe Rewards:
  • OTE Package: R1.2m fixed salary (60%) +Commission (40%), paid monthly on target achievement (with a 6-month guaranteed commission to support your onboarding)
