We’re hiring: Outdoor Media SpecialistOverviewAre you a proactive, target-driven sales professional with a passion for advertising? Do you excel at building relationships, closing deals, and positioning retail properties as prime media locations? If yes, join our team as an Outdoor Media Specialist and help drive revenue across our retail property portfolio.What you’ll do
  • Actively identify and approach potential clients, advertisers, and media agencies to market and sell outdoor advertising spaces (billboards, digital screens, hoardings, etc.).
  • Source new business and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop tailored advertising proposals and compelling pitch presentations for prospective clients.
  • -Negotiate commercial terms, prepare contracts, and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent service to secure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with Property and Legal teams to ensure advertising agreements align with lease terms and municipal regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess opportunities and showcase available media.
  • Maintain a detailed, up-to-date database of sites, leads, contacts, contracts, and performance reports.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing to stay competitive and relevant.
  • Ensure all advertising aligns with brand standards and enhances tenant and shopper experience.
Key competencies
  • Sales & Business Development: exceptional sales, negotiation, and closing skills; strong network and comfort with cold-calling and face-to-face selling.
  • Commercial Acumen: understanding of media buying/selling processes; solid pricing, margins, and ROI awareness.
  • Communication: clear, persuasive verbal and writing skills; professional presentation and pitching abilities; capable of liaising across levels.
  • Organizational Skills: pipeline management, accurate record-keeping, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, attention to detail in contracts and campaigns.
Requirements
  • Matric plus a relevant diploma or degree in Advertising, Marketing, Sales, Media, or Business.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a sales-driven role, preferably in outdoor advertising, media sales, or commercial property.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
