Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for critical business applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, user access, and performance.
  • Use Microsoft SQL and MySQL to query databases and assist with reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and implementation teams to resolve escalated issues.
  • Assist clients with basic application setup and workflow configurations.
  • Maintain and update the internal knowledge base for support procedures.
  • Support software testing, deployments, and upgrades.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to enhance system reliability.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken) – non-negotiable.
  • 1–2 years in application support, IT support, or a customer-facing software role.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills (Microsoft SQL & MySQL).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Exposure to the supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing sectors is a plus.
Desired Skills (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of ERP or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Understanding of software deployment processes.
