This senior role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for guest service and proven experience in revenue management within luxury properties. Offering a competitive cost-to-company package, this is a full-time opportunity to be part of one of South Africa’s most iconic winelands destinations.DescriptionAs the Reservations & Revenue Manager, you will oversee the reservations team and manage the full reservations process from enquiry to confirmation. You will implement strategies to maximise revenue while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and attention to detail. This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, as you will work closely with sales, operations, and other departmental heads to ensure seamless guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the reservations team, ensuring productivity and service excellence.
  • Oversee all reservations processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage VIP bookings, special requests, and guest communication with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and external stakeholders to maximise room revenue.
  • Implement and monitor revenue management strategies and reporting.
  • Maintain reservations systems (Protel Air or similar), ensuring data accuracy.
  • Generate reports, attend meetings, and provide management feedback.
  • Uphold 5-star service standards across all guest interactions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Reservations Manager in a luxury/5-star environment.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue management principles and hotel booking systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Protel Air (or similar systems), MS Office, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations with attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
