Capture all employee information on clock-in system and provide information to the groups Payroll Practitioner for all payroll purposes.
Ensure wage employees contracts and information are up to date at all times.
Collect information on working hours of each employee
Oversee recruitment, screening, and induction of all wage employees
Co-ordinate all training and development activities, internal and external.
Capture and prepare all information for annual Workplace Skills Plan and Employment Equity plan submission.
Advice, train and support on-site management regarding the interpretation and/or implementation of relevant labour legislation and policies/procedures.
Assist employees with queries on policies and procedures.Qualifications & Experience:A 3-year National Diploma or BCom Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
3 years’ relevant experience in similar role – HR / IR OR Payroll
Must have a valid drivers license and able to travel to different sites to assist with IR and/or related HR issuesKnowledge:Working knowledge of BCEA and LRA.
Working knowledge of Skills Development and Equity Acts.
Knowledge of Farm Trace and VIP will be advantageous.Skills:Excellent Computer Literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
