An established wholesale / retail company is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to take responsibility for the leadership, operations, and growth of one of their key branches.Role Overview The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving long-term branch growth. The role requires a balance of leadership, operational oversight, and customer relationship management.Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage branch staff.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Achieve daily sales and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage stock control, inventory counts, and warehouse operations.
- Oversee administrative processes including orders, queries, and banking.
- Ensure EH&S compliance and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Matric / NQF Level 4 equivalent (compulsory).
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience within a Wholesale or Retail environment.
- Management experience (advantageous).
- Technical knowledge of Refrigeration/HVAC (advantageous).
- Knowledge of appliance spares and HVAC essential.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Syspro, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Physically able to handle stock.
- Valid driver’s license required.
