Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Overview:We are seeking a motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Roodepoort. This hybrid role combines internal sales generation and client liaison, with a focus on order processing and quote preparation. You will be responsible for proactively reaching out to existing and potential clients to generate sales, processing orders, managing quotes, and ensuring excellent communication between clients and the company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Sales Generation: Actively generate sales opportunities by identifying client needs, providing product recommendations, and promoting the company's industrial automation and technology solutions to existing and new clients.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process client orders from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring all details are captured and communicated clearly to relevant departments.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare and send detailed and competitive quotes to clients, based on their requirements and specifications.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for queries, order status updates, and after-sales support.
  • Follow-Up and Negotiation: Proactively follow up with clients on outstanding quotes, sales leads, and order confirmations, addressing any concerns or adjustments needed.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the external sales team to support their efforts, ensuring all sales opportunities are tracked and orders are processed smoothly.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, tracking leads, client communications, order statuses, and quotes.
  • Customer Problem-Solving: Address any issues with orders, including product availability, pricing discrepancies, and delivery timelines, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (sales, logistics, and warehouse) to ensure smooth processing and timely delivery of orders.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in internal sales, order processing, or customer service, ideally in the industrial automation, technology, or engineering sectors.
  • Sales Experience: Previous experience generating sales or managing sales opportunities within an internal sales role is advantageous.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of industrial automation systems and technologies is a plus, or a willingness to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client orders and quotes concurrently.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to handle client negotiations professionally and close sales opportunities successfully.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, quotes, and orders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving ability to address client concerns, order discrepancies, and other issues as they arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and coordinate effectively with different departments to ensure client needs are met.
