We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment. This role is well-suited to a hands-on, technically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving and can contribute to the efficient running of our recycling plant.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.Carry out welding tasks as required.Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on machines.Operate safely with both power tools and hand tools.Assist with general maintenance tasks across the plant.Support the team in ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.Requirements:Previous experience in machine maintenance (recycling/industrial environment advantageous).Welding skills (essential).Strong problem-solving ability and technical aptitude.Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.Electrical skills will be an advantage.A proactive, adaptable, and safety-conscious approach.If you are a motivated all-rounder with a passion for keeping machines running smoothly, we would love to hear from you.
