A world-leading skincare company based in Cape Town has a superb, on-site opportunity for a fresh-thinking TTL Creative Director to join their small creative team. This is an exciting chance to position the brand on a global platform (in well over 150 countries worldwide).The role requires a through-the-line Creative Director who is a conceptual thinker who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate has up to 5 years as a Lead Integrated Creative (Design/Art Direction) and a track record that spans above-the-line as well as below-the-line. A sensitive design aesthetic is highly advantageous, and your portfolio boasts evidence of accolades demonstrating your talent for assimilating complex information and developing simple creative solutions.This company is an independent and well-established start-up who understands the integral importance of creativity and the value creative thinkers can bring. At the heart of this company is a small team who steer the brand (new product concept & development, product packaging, brand strategy, overall brand look and feel and its evolution, global marketing strategy, global media strategy, advertising for TV, print, outdoor, instore and social and digital media). We're looking for someone to join that team. Visual Communications Diploma/Degree/Experience
Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director
Up to 5 years as a Lead Integrated Creative - Design/Art Direction
A track record of well thought through work - and a portfolio that demonstrates this
Leadership and management skills and ability
Happy to work in a collaborative space with the executive team and CEO
Advanced skills in Adobe Suite - especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
A strategic thinker or an abiding interest in marketing strategy and its impact on the creative
Conceptual thinker
Flexibility, adaptability, and fluidity
Time management abilities
Insightful and innovative
Interested in all forms of visual communication and functional design
Attention to detail
No big egos
Leadership and management skills and ability.
