Night Shift Logistics Controller

• Monitor and track the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities.
• Address any issues or delays that arise during the night shift and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to night shift staff, including supervisors and controllers.
• Maintain accurate records of night shift activities and prepare reports as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve logistical issues and optimize operations.
• Assist in the training and development of new night shift staff members.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the operations manager.

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain processes is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
