Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving operational excellence?A fast-paced logistics company is looking for a Safety Officer who's ready to take ownership of all safety-related aspects for one of their Cape Town sites relating to employee safety, workplace conditions, PPE's and yard with vehicles. The role will have a strong focus on incident reporting, investigation, and resolution.What you'll be doing:

Ensure safe working conditions
Manage inventory of uniforms and protective equipment
Inspect and ensure PPE's are used correctly
Safety training for employees
Safety audits
Monitor, control, and report workplace incidents
Logging all safety-related incidents on the system
Investigation of incidents and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree in OHS, Logistics or related field
2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in safety management within logistics, transport, or warehousing
Strong understanding of incident investigation methodologies
Confidence using digital and software systems
