Salary: R18 000-R25,000 per month depending on experienceAbout the RoleOur client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduler to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and optimising transport schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and adjust transport and delivery schedules to meet customer and operational requirements.
  • Monitor driver routes, loads, and delivery times to ensure on-time performance.
  • Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and clients to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
  • Optimise scheduling to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and manage costs.
  • Track progress of shipments and deliveries, escalating issues as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, adjustments, and performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on scheduling performance.

RequirementsRequirements
  • Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or coordinating (preferably within logistics, transport, or supply chain).
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office (Excel essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Knowledge of logistics, transport regulations, and fleet operations (advantageous).

Education & Experience
  • Matric, equivalent qualification advantageous.
