Salary: R18 000-R25,000 per month depending on experienceAbout the RoleOur client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduler to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and optimising transport schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust transport and delivery schedules to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Monitor driver routes, loads, and delivery times to ensure on-time performance.
- Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and clients to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Optimise scheduling to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and manage costs.
- Track progress of shipments and deliveries, escalating issues as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, adjustments, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on scheduling performance.
- Enjoys working in a structured yet fast-paced environment.

- Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or coordinating (preferably within logistics, transport, or supply chain).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office (Excel essential).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
- Knowledge of logistics, transport regulations, and fleet operations (advantageous).
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach.

- Matric, equivalent qualification advantageous.
- Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or transport management (advantageous).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a scheduling or coordination role. The more experience the better!
