Purpose:
This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating closely with the CEO to drive business growthKey Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) SA
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role. Extensive financial experience
In-depth knowledge of the FMCG sector and its business dynamics
Strong leadership ability

Duties include:Financial Planning & Reporting:

Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
Prepare comprehensive financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal controls

Financial Strategy & Operations:

Design and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals
Manage cash flow and optimize profitability across the business

Investor Relations:

Build and manage relationships with investors, providing key financial insights and overseeing funding or investment strategies as needed

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including tax and accounting standards

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and manage the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and maintaining data integrity across financial operations

Advisory Role:

Offer financial insights and advice to the executive team on critical commercial and business decisions

Process Improvement:

Continuously enhance financial processes and leverage new technologies to drive efficiency
