– Pastel experience and all functions in Pastel (reporting etc)
– Tax knowledge and understanding
– Professional, worked in a corporate environment previous, preferably an international company.
– Exposed to all aspects of payroll
– Knowledge about benefits (medical aid/ provident fund), capable of advising (basic advice) and assisting new employees in this regard
– E-filing/ Easy File knowledge, IRP5, EMP201, applied for tax directives in the past, Pastel reporting etc.
– Excel skills intermediate to advance must be able to use excel for reporting purposes
– Some tax knowledge able to assist with calculation of leave pay, severance pay, calculation of Nett pay etc
– Up-to-date payroll knowledge
– Someone who can hit the ground running and has the necessary experience
– Must be a good and confident communicator capable of dealing with staff at all levels (senior and junior staff) in a professional/ corporate office environment
– In this role Payroll aspects most NB, any other HR experience is a plus but the focus of the role is purely payroll
