New role is available for a Sales Representative in Cape Town (Killarney Gardens) for our client in the Industrial Cleaning Chemical Products industry.Skillscape townHospitality and Laundry / FoodIndustrial Cleaning Chemical Psales representativeThe Sales Representative will sell chemicals (Industrial Cleaning Chemical Products) to the Hospitality and Laundry / Food and Beverage industries- to exemplify the brand and grow the branch.The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, client relationship management, and some commercial functions. This includes acquiring new clients, maintaining current relationships, achieving sales targets, and providing after-sales service and technical support.*Salary for the first 6months, after that commission only*Key Responsibilities:Business Development
  • Acquire new clients and maintain existing accounts
  • Conduct client visits (±10 per day), complete call reports and planners
  • Meet sales targets and follow up on leads
  • Upsell at existing clients and conduct product demos
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders
  • Deliver excellent customer service, training, and support
  • Perform technical installations, repairs, and emergency services when needed
  • Offer customized cleaning and sanitation solutions
Communication & Reporting
  • Attend sales meetings and submit weekly reports
  • Share market intelligence and feedback with Sales Manager
  • Comply with communication and data policies
Administration
  • Assist with debtor follow-ups and client onboarding documents
  • Maintain accurate client records and manage merchandising
  • Provide timely quotes and maintain HSE compliance at client sites
Self-Development
  • Stay updated on products, industry trends, and sales techniques
  • Attend training and continuously develop sales skills
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar sales role
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong selling, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Bilingual with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
