  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for a range of construction projects.
  • Manage tendering processes, including preparation of Bills of Quantities and evaluations of subcontractor bids.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets throughout the construction phase.
  • Evaluate and manage variations, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with Site Managers, Project Managers, and procurement teams.
  • Ensure contract compliance and manage the commercial aspects of subcontractor relationships.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a QS role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT and NEC).
  • Excellent numeracy, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
