Position: Senior Chef de Partie (CDP)
Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg
Salary: R15,000 – R18,000Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in food preparation, advanced cooking techniques, and high presentation standards.
  • Ability to innovate menu items with seasonal, quality ingredients.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Organizational skills for managing kitchen operations, inventory, and stock control.
  • Ability to perform under high-pressure conditions, maintaining quality in peak times.
  • Excellent communication skills for teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Experience:
  • Minimum 4-5 years as a Chef de Partie or similar role in high-end restaurants or luxury hospitality settings.
  • Culinary expertise in food preparation, advanced cooking techniques, and maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Proven experience in menu creation and innovation, incorporating seasonal and quality ingredients.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing kitchen operations, inventory, and stock control.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, upholding quality standards during peak service times.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and coordinating with front-of-house teams.
