- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food across all sections of the kitchen
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
- Ensure food is stored and handled properly in accordance with health and safety standards
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
- Assist with stock rotation and the maintenance of kitchen inventory
- Learn and develop culinary skills by working closely with experienced chefs
- Comply with all hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- Previous kitchen experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
