Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Store Manager to oversee the operations of a Fresh Produce Fruit and Veg retail store in East London. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fresh produce, customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence and sales growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize freshness and availability.
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and food quality standards.
  • Sales and Financial Performance:
  • Drive sales targets and profitability through effective merchandising and customer service.
  • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, including cost control and expense management.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet operational goals.
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staff concerns promptly.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure a clean, well-organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and promptly.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

  • Proven ability to manage store operations, inventory, and staff effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in retail software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Educational Requirements:
  • A diploma or degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
