- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize freshness and availability.
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and food quality standards.
- Sales and Financial Performance:
- Drive sales targets and profitability through effective merchandising and customer service.
- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Prepare and manage budgets, including cost control and expense management.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet operational goals.
- Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staff concerns promptly.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure a clean, well-organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively and promptly.
- Develop strategies to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in fresh produce, food, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce handling, storage, and merchandising.
- Proven ability to manage store operations, inventory, and staff effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in retail software and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A diploma or degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
