
F&B Manager

- Minimum of 35 years experience in a 4 or 5 star hospitality environment
- Proven track record in managing food and beverage operations
- Experience in banqueting and conferencing
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
- Valid South African ID
- Strong financial acumen (budgets, cost control, profit margins)
- Advanced stock control; POS, PMS & inventory systems (APEX/NEBULA & PlusPoint beneficial)
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent English communication (spoken & written)
- Leadership, training, and team motivation
- Guest-centric with a flair for innovation in F&B experiences
- Oversee daily F&B service, maintain quality and hygiene standards, manage inventory and equipment, support menu planning and promotional activities, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation
- Guide and develop staff through coaching, meetings, performance reviews, and cross-training; foster a respectful and high-performing team culture
- Manage payroll, budgets, and employee records; monitor costs, forecast operational needs, and leverage systems for reporting and scheduling
- Resolve complaints, drive service excellence, respond to feedback, and ensure consistent product and service quality across all touchpoints
