JNR Air Freight Controller- Logistics

• Registering of Air Import or Export Files on Cargo Wise
• Handling of handover over shipments to local agents.
• Tracking & Monitoring of shipments from origin until final delivery to client.
• Booking of collections and deliveries with Transporters
• Liaising with service providers
• Updating notes on Cargo Wise
• Send daily status reports / updates to customers
• Maintaining shipment E-docs on Cargo Wise
• Other general functions associated

• Recovery of Agent Invoices
• Arranging payments of local third-party invoices
• Daily Invoicing of files
• 3rd party invoice query/resolution.

• Direct communication with customers
• Acknowledge and assist with Customer queries

• Register files on Cargo Wise and handover to Customs department for entry framing.
• Once released from customs, arrange collection / delivery with the Transporter.
• Finalise Billing and send documents to customer.

• Must have a matric certificate
• Must have minimum 2 years Clearing and Forwarding experience.
• Office programmes Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• CargoWise experience
