Senior Forwarding Controller

• Coordinate import cargo movements in line with client requirements.
• Apply and interpret INCOTERMS.
• Manage commercial, transport, carrier & depot, and statutory body documentation and stamps.
• Oversee various seafreight shipment types and claims/insurance processes.
• Understand global geographic locations, rate structures, currencies, and international codes.
• Ensure RCG (Reporting of Conveyances and Goods) compliance.
• Maintain financial accuracy and high standards of data quality.
• Analyse situations, solve problems, and maintain a strong client focus.

• Matric plus a 2-year freight forwarding qualification (NQF level 4 or 5, or equivalent).
• 5–7 years’ recent import controlling experience within the clearing and forwarding industry.
• Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurised environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with strong time management skills.
