Our Client, A national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their Cape Town office. This role is available immediately for a dedicated professional who can lead audits, guide trainee accountants, and ensure high-quality client service.Main Responsibilities
- Attend to audit-related requests from the Senior Manager.
- Ensure compliance with SAICA training requirements for trainee accountants.
- Manage own productivity and meet deadlines.
- Report file status to seniors and senior managers.
- Provide feedback to clients and resolve queries.
- Assist in formulating budgets and prepare budgets for manager review.
- Coordinate and attend stock counts.
- Present financial statements.
- Review work of junior staff members.
- Plan audits with the Manager and execute audit work.
- Finalise audit files and clear review queries.
- Complete assigned auditing projects and tasks.
- Preferably CTA or BCom Degree in Accounting/Auditing.
- Completed Articles (essential).
- Computer literate (intermediate level).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Reliable own transport.
