- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to promote and sell parts and related services.
- Respond promptly to incoming parts sales inquiries via phone, email, or messaging platforms.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Accurately identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate parts based on product knowledge and system information.
- Inform customers of promotions, discounts, and value-added services.
- Provide professional advice and support regarding parts installation, maintenance, and compatibility.
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on open quotes to close sales.
- Capture sales orders promptly and accurately into the system (e.g., ERP or CRM software).
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to confirm stock availability and delivery timelines.
- Track orders and communicate status updates to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
- Record all call interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks.
- Analyse customer buying patterns to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay informed about the full range of available parts and updates from suppliers.
- Understand competitor offerings and market pricing to better position products.
- Attend training sessions and product briefings to stay current with new parts and systems.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Identify trends and report customer feedback to the sales and procurement teams.
- Min: Post-Matric Certificate
- Ideal: Diploma in agriculture/business/marketing or a related field
- Min: Driver’s License and Police Clearance
- Min: On-the-job training, Computer Skills on Word & EXCEL
- Occupational Health & Safety
- High level of product application knowledge - 3-5 years’ experience
