
Audit Senior

- Conducts full statutory audits on small, medium, and large-sized firms in the private and public sectors.
- Prepares financial statements for various business types, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Private Companies, Close Corporations, and Trusts, as well as group consolidations.
- Calculates taxes payable by individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Advises clients on tax-related issues such as VAT, Fringe benefits, and dividend tax.
- Liaises with client executives throughout the audit engagement.
- Drafts reports for management on internal control deficiencies and other audit findings.
- Reviews audit files and supervises junior staff.
- Initiates and effects journal entries, including relevant calculations.
- Prepares cash flow information and all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
- Maintains the fixed asset register and wear and tear registers.
- Performs job costing, including variance analysis.
- Performs stock counts and reconciliation of variances.
- BCom Accounting Degree (Non-negotiable)
- Completed SAICA-accredited articles (Non-negotiable)
- Experience in both the public and private sectors
- Exposure to international clients (Advantageous)
- CaseWare experience (Advantageous)
