Senior Accountant

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (pref)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the accounting field
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Proficient in the following software:

• Lead, review, and conduct audits and independent reviews across various sectors
• Manage client relationships and maintain client expectations
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Manage the scheduling of annual audit work
• Stay informed on changes in laws and financial regulations
• Review and prepare complex tax returns and related calculations
• Draft and review financial statements in line with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
• Oversee month-end procedures for clients
