- With assistance from the team, develop and implement a communication strategy for internal and external comms.
- Manage the annual communications plan for all channels internal and external.
- Manage day-to-day communication requirements from business for BetterBond.
- Identify potential new communications, working across the teams to plan and develop content.
- Build and maintain communication templates and the sending thereof.
- Ensure that there is a consistent tone of voice in communications line with brand CI and company culture.
- Track, measure and report on the effectiveness of the communication channels.
- Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud as a tool for communications and constantly learn new skills as new features become available.
- Working with the team to coordinate the strategy and development of relevant focused campaigns to further the company’s objectives
- Manage, deliver and monitor campaigns towards achieving the agreed milestones as required
- Create campaign toolkits and material
- Manage the campaign plans for all channels.
- With assistance of a copywriter, create content accordingly for digital campaigns (email, SMS and WA) and website campaigns (interaction studio).
- Ensure that there is a consistent tone of voice in campaigns in line with brand CI and brand campaigns.
- Track, measure and report on the effectiveness on the campaigns.
- Use insights to develop audience-based testing strategies to drive leads and engagement, and to continually adjust these audiences based on campaign performance results and continued analysis.
- Ensure understanding of Customer Experience across the value chain to better identify drip campaigns required to drive action – i.e. taking the next step in the buying journey and ultimately closing the sale.
- Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud as a tool for campaigns and constantly learn new skills as new features become available.
- Responsible for maintaining databases, using data analyses to optimize direct and interactive campaigns, and creating custom reports.
- Demonstrate the ability to create accessible, engaging, and high-impact campaigns, and to stay abreast of latest database marketing trends, channels and tools.
The successful candidate must have:
- A relevant degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- Strong understanding of best practices in direct communications and campaigns, digital marketing and lead generation.
- Understanding of database architecture, technologies and data security.
- Understanding of data modelling to support database marketing.
- Ability to quantify and report on ROI for all marketing activities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Very good communication (written, verbal) skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven track record in communications and campaign management (POE)
- Ability to build internal emails in Outlook and external emails using HTML and Marketing Cloud Content Builder.
- Extensive experience in email, SMS, WhatsApp and other direct forms of direct marketing campaigns
- Proven track record of communications platform (ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud, alternative CRM / email platform)
- 3-5 years’ experience working in communications/email specialist role, ideally with
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification Advantageous
