Full-time, contract basis
Location: Remote ; U.S. business hours (9 AM – 5 PM Central Time)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accountant (Contract) to provide critical accounting support on a temporary basis. This role will primarily focus on accounts receivable activities to help our accounting team clear a significant backlog and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of accounting experience and a strong background in accounts receivable and collections. This position is ideal for someone who is a fast learner, can handle repetitive tasks with accuracy, and is also capable of stepping up for complex, deadline-driven responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and send customer invoices using Sage Intacct ERP systemApply customer payments and manage accounts receivable collectionsCoordinate with an external paddle testing company to track payments and release testingAssist with general accounting tasks such as journal entries and reconciliationsSupport the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects, including revenue recognition tasks * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting processes

Regularly follow up on outstanding invoices and participate in A/R meeting updating on the status of payment

Requirements2–4 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar roleProven experience in accounts receivable and collectionsProficiency with ERP systems (Sage Intacct strongly preferred but not required) * Strong Excel skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
