This role is ideal for a mature, self-motivated individual with a solid background in office administration, SARS compliance, and client liaison. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.🧩 Key Responsibilities
- General office administration and day-to-day operational support
- Typing and formatting professional letters, reports, and correspondence
- Handling incoming calls and client queries with professionalism and warmth
- Managing eFiling duties including:
- Annual return submissions to SARS
- VAT registrations and updates
- Monitoring compliance deadlines
- Diary management and scheduling for management
- Filing and document management (physical and digital)
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and errands as required
- Maintaining a neat and organized office environment
- Liaising with suppliers, service providers, and government departments
- Supporting basic bookkeeping and invoicing tasks (if applicable)
- Proven experience in office administration or PA role (minimum 3-5 years)
- Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling and VAT processes
- Excellent typing and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans a strong advantage)
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Matric with relevant certificate or diploma
