Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding fleet management and logistics company, based in Johannesburg South, is searching for an experienced Financial Controller to take the wheel of their finance function.In this pivotal role, you will design and manage cost models, analyse fuel efficiencies, and deliver financial insights that directly impact profitability. Lead and oversee the full finance and accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and analysis
Develop and maintain cost-per-kilometre models and fuel consumption tracking systems
Collaborate with operations to drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability
Prepare and present monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
Ensure compliance with audits, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
Monitor financial trends and provide strategic recommendations on investments and cost-saving measures

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential
Minimum 4 years in a financial role within the fleet/logistics sector
Strong knowledge of cost-per-kilometre principles and fuel consumption analysis
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems/reporting tools
