- Develop and implement strategies, tactical plans and marketing communications in accordance with Business strategies in commercial, channel, and portfolio area.
- Lead, prepare and implement innovative and measurable marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with marketing plans, and track performance and recommend necessary changes to optimize
- Oversee new product introduction and provide comprehensive launch plans and execute of same within budget.
- Cost-effective management and tracking and control of the marketing budget.
- Oversee the development and provision of all marketing material.
- Effective use of quantitative and qualitative market data and business intelligence to develop marketing plans, campaigns and tactical plans and initiatives.
- Assist with portfolio gap analysis, forecasting and business development.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and codes of conduct.
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and service with external and internal customers, enhancing the company image at all times through consistent communication of the company’s image and
- Proactive support of the sales team including articulation of campaign and tactical plans, effective use of marketing material and field travel.
- Manage consultants and marketing and promotion agencies.
- Provide top management with relevant input in business reviews and annual planning sessions.
- Degree in Marketing.
- 4 plus years of experience in marketing within the generic pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of applicable marketing codes & compliance.
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
