Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma in Agriculture
Minimum 5-10 years’ commercial and sales experience in the agriculture industry within the specified region
Ability to manage and develop a team of representatives
Good administration skills and financial acumen is essential
Excellent knowledge of the market and market development

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and executing a commercial strategy aligned with business goals.
Identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Leading the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
Maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business growth.
Overseeing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
Establishing strategies to expand distribution networks, managing targets and discounts for distributors.
Collaborating with the Technical Manager to align product offerings with market demands.
Developing and managing the commercial budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Representing the company at industry events to enhance reputation and visibility.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all commercial activities.
