Kallos Global, a prominent fruit marketing company based in the Western Cape, currently has the above-mentioned vacancy for a detail-oriented individual to take responsibility for the financial management function of the group, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and indirectly to the CEO and Managing Director.Key Performance Areas:

Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Weekly credit risk exposure overview
Cash flow planning
Forex management
Monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journals
Income tax and VAT compliance
Year-end audit preparation
Reviewing and improving internal financial controls
Staff management and support to the finance team

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom)
Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA / SAIPA)
3-10 years post articles experience
Relevant experience in the fruit industry will be advantageous
Computer literate (MS Office)
Experience with the QX system / Pastel will be advantageous
Commercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitude
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Multi-tasking ability and ability to prioritise
Management and leadership aptitude
Deadline-orientated
Well-developed communication and administration skills
An individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mile
Professional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work
