My client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their Group Finance team for a 6-month contract. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong finance and administrative skills, looking to work in a high-paced, professional environment within the financial services sector.As the Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Group Finance function through the accurate processing of financial transactions, managing cashbooks, scheduling payments, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and audit requirements.As a Finance Administrator, you will responsible for the following:
  • Schedule and prepare local and offshore payments for review and release.
  • Maintain and reconcile multiple cashbooks and petty cash.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process basic accounting entries in the financial system.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable sub-ledgers.
  • Monitor cash requirements and manage surplus fund movements.
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, journals, and accruals.
  • Prepare supporting documents for audits and regulatory purposes.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and administrative support to the Group Financial Manager.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
  • 35 years experience in a finance or administrative role (financial services preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, SAP, or Pastel is an advantage.
