Responsible for the day-to-day management of production and maintenance activities. Coordinates efforts related to production, quality management system, and safety to keep it running smoothly.Duties:

To oversee and manage the entire production and maintenance processes and co-ordinate all activities

involved in production line. * To ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly and cost effectively, as well as deliver quality productsin time, with the right quantities, at the right time and with the right cost structure. * Efficient planning and control of business operation, including estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgetsand timescales with clients and managers. * Ensure proper work-plans and workflow are in place inorder to meet required deadlines. * Ensure that there is appropriate inventory levels, high percentage of machine availability supported by qualitytimely maintenance and maintain higher employee performance underscored by strict discipline. * Minimize rework and rejects through proper supervision

of production process and coaching and mentorship of operators.
To manage the performance of your employees and motivate them for optimal performance.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

Relevant degree or diploma in business management, production management or relevant experience.
At least ten (5) or more years of experience in a similar role.

Knowledge

Knowledge of steel specifications with management experience. Microsoft Office Suite
Customer service orientated.
Good organisational skills, reliable and
Good verbal as well as written communication skills
Valid driver's license and own transport
