The internship also provides an excellent opportunity to integrate studying and real teaching experience while working in a highly functioning school and a remarkable team.This position involves but is not limited to the following: - Assisting in Grade 8-12 Physical Sciences and Mathematics classes
- Assisting in the Science laboratory
- Mentoring by an experienced and qualified teacher
- Participation in co-curricular activities. Preference for coaching Water Polo would be an advantage.
- Supervision duties including some evenings, weekends and school holidays
- Participation in professional and personal growth opportunities
- Participation in a variety of collaborative teams
Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Computer literate
- A passion for learning
- Proof of current registration for 3rd or 4th year at a tertiary level
- Own transport and accommodation
Remuneration will include - A contribution to tuition fees
- A monthly stipend
- Use of a Chromebook
