Our client in the coatings industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Technician to their automotive coatings team.This role based in Port Elizabeth, combines technical product expertise with strong sales ability to identify customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and build long-term relationships, in the Automotive Sales sector.Market related basic salary + company vehicle + provident fund.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:

Proven experience working with specifications and customers in the Automotive sector.
Qualified Spray Painter.
Valid driver’s license required.
Skilled in interpreting technical specifications and industry standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong communication and presentation skills for workshops and demos.
Excellent at managing client relationships with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Automotive sector.
Build and maintain strong engagement with automotive customers.
Offer technical support and recommend products tailored to customer needs.
Deliver product demos, conduct site visits and provide customer training.
Generate and follow up on quotes, proposals and sales opportunities.
Manage existing customer relationships and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
Collaborate with technical, production and logistics teams for seamless order fulfilment.
Track market trends, competitor moves and pricing developments.
Keep CRM systems updated with accurate visit reports and sales activity.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
