This is a live-in position ideal for someone who thrives in a remote bush environment and has a proactive, problem-solving approach.DescriptionThe Maintenance Manager will take full responsibility for the upkeep and functionality of their lodge infrastructure.You’ll oversee a small team and be accountable for all maintenance-related tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, generators, water systems, vehicles, and general lodge upkeep.A key part of your role will be ensuring preventative maintenance plans are executed and responding swiftly to faults or breakdowns to maintain the high standards expected by discerning safari guests.Salary: R12,500 – R15,000 (dependent on experience)

Live-in position with accommodation providedMinimum Requirements

At least 3 years’ relevant maintenance experience, ideally within a lodge or remote hospitality property
Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general handyman functions
Experience managing a maintenance team and coordinating daily tasks
Solid planning and organisational abilities
Valid driver’s license required
Physically fit with sober habits
Able to work and live in a remote bush environment
