RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Reports to Plant ManagerPrimarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actionsAlign with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimizationLead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure ie. breakdown/reactive, corrective, preventive, upgrades etc.Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment such as boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment etc.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:Technical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree2-4 years’ experience in a similar managerial position5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environmentSound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store managementCMMS knowledge.Sound knowledge of OHS ActSound knowledge and Experience in Labour LegislationGeneral Machinery Regulations experience is an advantageShould you not have received a response to your application within two weeks of submitting your CV, please consider your application unsuccessful.
