To join their faced-paced environment where their values are aligned with showing grit and authenticity, they are seeking a Site Agent in Cape Town.A large majority of their current pipeline is in healthcare, where projects range in value from R6million to R60million. They are looking for experienced site individuals who do not necessarily need a construction degree, but who have proven abilities of managing the construction process and paperwork on site within live environments such as hotels or hospitals; where the existing building needs to keep functioning and delivering a service whilst your team upgrades or adds on to facilities. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, your day to day will include ensuring that all construction works are well planned and carried out in a proper work sequence, overseeing subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring timeous procurement and delivery of all construction material, overseeing construction budget and cost control, interpreting design drawings and details and providing technical guidance, carrying out inspections on site and ensuring quality control, ensuring site compliance with health and safety measures as well as chairing site meetings and keeping site records. Furthermore, Site Managers are responsible for everything through the construction phase including all detailing until NOPD, all RFI's, SI's and everything up until NOPs.The successful incumbent will have at least 10 years' experience as a Site Manager/ Construction Manager or Site Agent. Moreover, you will boast a proven track record working within the student accommodation or high-rise residential construction space. In your arsenal you will have master's proficiency using MS Office, Buildsmart, SharePoint and Site Manager DD.
