Job Purpose:The role involves HR administration, compliance with South African labour legislation, employee relations, recruitment, and time management oversight. The HR Generalist will act as a key link between employees, management, and the Group HR Manager.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), and other labour legislation.Manage time management and attendance systems to ensure accuracy.Handle employee relations, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and dismissals.Oversee HR administration: contracts, personnel files, leave, and HR records.Address and resolve HR queries from employees.Coordinate the recruitment process: job adverts, shortlisting,interviews, and onboarding.Provide HR reporting and support decision-making.Liaise with the Group HR Manager on escalated HR matters and group-wide initiatives.Contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices.Conduct dismissalsEmployment engagement and clockingReport writingAssist with TrainingMaintain payroll reportsQualifications & Experience:Matric (Grade 12)HR diploma or equivalent
