As the Accountant, you will oversee core accounting functions, provide financial insights, and ensure adherence to compliance standards in a highly regulated industry. This role offers both technical complexity and the opportunity to partner with operations to improve efficiencies and profitability.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Full Function Accounting: Manage journals, reconciliations, and month-end processes for manufacturing entities.
Management Reporting: Prepare accurate management accounts and financial statements.
Cost Analysis & Controls: Monitor production costs, perform variance analysis, and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to tax, statutory, and internal control requirements.
Audit & Year-End Support: Assist with audit preparation and liaise with External Auditors.
Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies in financial systems and reporting within the manufacturing framework.

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting
Completed SAICA articles - Essential
Manufacturing / FMCG industry experience - Essential
Strong technical accounting skills, including inventory and cost management
Advanced Excel proficiency
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
