- New unit sales
- Used/Refurbished unit sales
- Rental fleet
- Spare parts
- Product support
- Submit annual sales budgets for the Inland branches for approval by the Management Board and take accountability for achievement of same.
- Ensure that all relevant business units are appropriately staffed and that staff is professionally trained, managed and motivated.
- Conduct regular formal as well as informal staff appraisals and provide feedback to the Management Board and the HR function.
- Create a positive working environment by communicating company strategies and objectives and ensure that these are understood and met.
- Where necessary identify appropriate experienced companies that may be appointed as dealers.
- Ensure that the brand is marketed and promoted throughout the region via digital marketing platforms, customer days, golf days and participation in trade shows.
- Conduct regular customer visits, in particular those considered key accounts.
- Liaise closely with all support functions to ensure effective and efficient running of the business.
- A period of 15 to 20 years’ experience in the forklift industry is an advantage. Or similar experience.
- A proven track record of managing and motivating successful sales or commercial teams either in the forklift or a competitive industry.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and goal orientated.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- A positive outlook and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
